Dublin’s Newest Boyband, Next In Line busking on Grafton Street

Louis Walsh, the music manager behind the success of Westlife and Boyzone, has done it again with the unveiling of his brand new boyband, Next In Line. The group of five talented singers were discovered by Louis himself after holding open auditions in Dublin last year. Originally, he had plans to form both a girlband and a boyband, but after not finding the right fit for the girlband, he shifted his focus to the boys.

After sifting through 1,000 auditions, Louis selected Conor O’Farrell, Nueng Kelly, Harry O’Connell, Conor Davis, and Joshua Regala as the members of Next In Line. The group has already recorded ten songs in London with pop producer Brian Higgins, known for his work with hit groups like Sugababes and Girls Aloud. Steve Garrigan of Kodaline was also brought in to write and work with the boys in the studio.

Louis is confident that Next In Line is the real deal, admitting he’s “never been more excited or confident about a group.” The band made their debut on The Late Late Show on September 23, 2022, performing “When You Love Someone” by James TW. With their unique blend of talent and charm, it’s clear that Next In Line is poised for success in the music industry.
